What is Staking?

Staking is a process in the crypto where token holders can earn rewards for holding and locking up their tokens in a particular blockchain network. This process involves holding a certain amount of cryptocurrency in a wallet or account and locking it up for a specified period, usually determined by the network. By doing so, stakers contribute to the security and functioning of the blockchain network and, in return, receive a portion of the transaction fees and newly minted tokens as a reward. This process helps token holders generate income by earning passive income from their crypto holdings without having to sell them. Staking has become increasingly popular among cryptocurrency investors looking to earn a steady income from their investments while also contributing to the overall security and stability of the network.
